At Waterloo First UMC, we are called to Love Boldly, Serve Joyfully, and Lead Courageously. You can be part of our ministry with your gift. Our ministries include:
- Food Nook- In partnership with the Northeast Iowa Food Bank, we provide food for anyone who needs it. Food Nook hours are 9:30 - 10:30 am every Thursday and 10-11 am on the Second Saturday of the month.
- We Help Others- We assist with utilities for those who can't quite make ends meet. Assistance is provided to each household once per year.
- We have many partner ministries, including the Job Foundation, the House of Hope, Getting Ahead, Irving Elementary, World Grace Project, and Habitat for Humanity.
- At Waterloo First, we also have in-house music programs and Christian Education Classes everyone is welcome to join.
You can designate your gift to any of these ministries or give a general pledge, which helps us to keep our lights on to continue to serve our membership and community.
